Audio skips saving to DV.

CD's loaded to PC via Media Player (44.1kHz 16 bit) cause the audio track to skip when saving to DV camera. How can I avoid this without using a workaround that saves to best quality. I want to stay in the digital domain and maintain optimum quality.
