Audio quality

I use high quality .wav files as my audio source. Whan I save movie as
DV-AVI the sound, which is perfect in preview, has a slight distortion/tinny
sound (enough to bug me anyway). When I save as High Quality Video (PAL) the
sound is perfect but the picture quality isn't as good. Can anyone tell me
why this happens and how to fix it

the issue is with the rendering to DV-AVI process. There isn't a fix... the
work-around is to save your movie to high quality WMV or save it in a few
passes, the WMV file to get the good audio, a DV-AVI file for the good
video, and a final pass that combines the audio and video from the first two
passes.

Thanks for your advice PJ, sounds like the solution. I understand the theory
but how do you combine the two seperate passes into the final pass with the
quality video and the quality sound (I already have the two seperate passes)
