Audio Problems....

Rage!!!!

I just got a new PC and I can't get any sound out of
it... I'm running an Asus A7N8X-X mainboard, with an
onboard sound card. I'm registering sound, but hearing
none. I got everything plugged in right and all the audio
profiles seem to be in order, what could be wrong, and
how would I fix it???
 
In that your PC is new, recommend you contact the
manufacturer's tech support to assist you. Tinkering
with setup/settings could void your warranty. It may
only be the activation of your sound card or defective
speakers. Have your tried your headset to check if any
sound is emminating?
