Hello,
I have a ECS K7S5A version 5.0 motherboard. I'm running
windows XP Pro, when the system goes into standbythings
are fine. When the system is brought of standby, there is
no audio. Has anyone seen this. Please help. Thanks

Gidday,

I noticed exactly the same problem today. The only thing I
changed on my PC was setting up a user password to be used
to bring it out of standby. Previously I used no passwords
of logons. When I checked my device manager, there was an
exclamation point beside the Microsoft Kernel Wave Audio
Mixer. Would love to hear a solution to this one.

Well today I repalced the original audio driver from the
install cd with the one supplied at the ECS website. It
seems to have corrected the problem. I've heard there is a
timing issue with Windows XP and it doesn't leave enough
time for devices to activate. hope this helps
