When I play my slideshow with specific audio narration for each slide, I have a pop at the beginning and end of each slide. Very annoying..

Is there any setting or way to fix this, I see the same issue in playing each audio file in WMP, pop when I go from track to track, exact same pop that I get in Powerpoint in between each of my slides..

Is there a way to fix this. It is at the begginning and end of each of my audio tracks, at least it is consistant throughout the presentation but does make it sound unprofessional..

It sounds as though the "pop" is in the audio file, so not a PPT specific
problem. The solution is to edit the audio file, by deleting the first
and/or last section of each audio to delete the offending "pop" sound. I use
SoundForge for audio editing, but a very good shareware app. if GoldWave
which can be downloaded here: http://www.goldwave.com/

I have edited all 30 audio files in Goldwave way before I even brought into Powerpoint.

The pop does not exist in the audio track, it is something in the windows environment...

It could be in the middle of the audio file, when I jump to the next slide I will hear it click/pop at the end and beginning each time the audio file starts and or stops, weather it be at the beginning of the audio track or in the middle.

I even removed the first and last sentence in a couple of slides, 'cause I though that it was in the waveform...Nope, it's something else.

Any other helpers out there?
