Audio or video conf does not work

My father & I are newbies to Messenger. After 2 days we finally got the
webcam function to work, but we cannot get the video conference or audio to
work at all. Can someone help, please? Thank you.
 
This is most likely being blocked by the firewall if u have one, or by the router. Chec the required ports are open then try again.
 
Firewall is unchecked, so that should be fine. Any other suggestions?

Use Yahoo Messenger - it works!

I have no link to Yahoo, other than using their Messenger. MSN Messenger
voice just doesn't work in some setups - tried everything!
