When i save the project to my computer the final productions audio cuts out half way through the movie.

What kind of source files are you using? DV-AVI from a digital camcorder,
MPEG2 from downloads or DVDs, WMV files, etc.
Are the clips that are half way into the movie any different than those in
the first half?
