I've completed my first MM movie and am happy with the
edit, but I am keen to adjust the audio / music levels
all the way through the movie. I can of course vary this
manually - but how can i save this and the varied levels.

at the moment it just saves it at the last level for the
whole movie.

all help appreciated.

Hi there,

There are two systems for varying the audio. One is the balance between the
film clip audio and audio added to the timeline at the very bottom. To use
this feature see the small volume slider on the far left of the window and
very slightly above the top of the time line.

The second method is to alter the output from the sound track of the film
clip. To access it simply right click the clips audio track and select
"Volume". At first look it seems very restrictive...but there is a way of
getting it to work for you. Position the cursor at a plave where you want
the sound level to change, then click the audio track and then click the
"Cut" icon (on the far right), now right click the section of audio track,
select "Volume" and adjust as needed. Its a good idea to vary the volume in
very small stages, so that after repeating these steps the volume is
finally down or up to the level you want.
