I am using Movie Maker to assemble digital video clips (from a Sony camera)
of a wedding into a movie. The wedding was outdoors so there is a fair bit
of wind noise that I would like to filter out. It doesn't appear that Movie
Maker has the capability to filter out the wind noise. Does anyone know of
another application that will do what I want. Thanks.

Abobe Audition would be perfect for you. Audition is an advanced audio file
editing tool. You can download a free trial version from Adobe. A nice
feature of Audition is it will extract the audio track from a video file.
Simply right click your Movie files and select SEND TO > Adobe Audition.
After you have cleaned up your track, save it as a .wma file, import into
movie maker using it as your new audio track.
