When I try try import audio files from my own store
bought cd's I get a message that says, "FILENAME.wma is
protected using digital rights management and cannot be
imported.

How can I fix this.

I use Windows XP.

Check your settings in the Windows Media Player, assuming
that's what you use for copying your CDs to your hard
drive. Go to Tools > Options > Copy Music.

Hi there,
This is not a Movie Maker topic, however whatever program you use to
capture this audio with it has the digital rights manager turned on. You
must turn it off. This may let you use the audio, but it is quite likely
that you will have to delete both the audio track and its licence and then
download the audio again.
