Audio-Enhancement Plug-in trouble

I'm having trouble with audio plug ins. I have tried DFX and ANWIDA
(separately) and both times the music starts and stops abrubtly until I
deactivate them. I'd like to fix this so that I can use one or the other...

Any ideas?

Unfortunately not.

I am unfamiliar with ANWIDA. DFX has separate editions for different
players, so it may help others willing to help if you name the player(s) you
have tried it with. If different players, it may be a vital clue if the
problem exists across editions.

I haven't experienced your problem, with neither DFX 7.x nor 8.x, but I
hardly use the players involved (with me: WinAmp, Windows Media Player 10,
Real One).
 
I'm currenty using Media Player 11 (though the problem existed with 9 as
well).
I have tried DFX 8 and a program called ANWIDA Soft GEQ15P 1.0. I like the
Anwida better but both cause the music to skip in and out, even if I don't
have it activated. The only way I can get rid of it is to uninstall the
program. Both programs claim to be for Media Player 11.
