I have used WMM to create a DV-AVI format file that is saved on my hard drive. When I import the file to either Sony's DVgate Plus or Click to DVD I don't get a sound track

I recorded the finished WMM production back to my camera and then used DVgate Plus to re-import it back onto the computer and everything works fine. I would rather avoid this process everytime I want to make a DVD as it proves to be extremely time consuming

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks.

Sonic MyDVD (http://www.sonic.com/) will successfully transcode DV-AVI files
generated by MM2.

I have found that if I import a DV-AVI file generated by MM2 into Premiere
there's no sound. Sounds like a MM2 issue to me.

Gord,

It sounds like those applications only
support Type 2 DV-AVI files, but MM2
creates Type 1.

So you'll need to convert them first.
You can download a utility to do that
