Steven,
Yesterday I was working on a friend's computer and told him about
index.dat files. I showed him how large the ones on his system had
gottten. Then I tried installing "Empty Temp Folders" and getting it
to delete the files. Unfortunately, the batch file generated by that
program didn't succeed in deleting those files, so I removed that
program and installed your Index.dat Suite (note that I still find a
use for ETF on my own system and am looking forward to the next
version, but I don't think that ETF is being developed anymore.)
Using your program I found more instances of index.dat files than
ETF was able to locate, and I was also able to use your program to
show him some of the entries in the larger index.dat files on his system.
My friend was very impressed (as well as concerned) and then when I
showed him how to use your program to successfully *delete* all
instances of those files (I explained and demonstrated to my friend
that they get recreated, but the the new ones are empty), he was
really appreciative.

Thanks again for this excellent and very functional freeware program.

This is why I volunteered to write the Help file.

I'm now working on RF Types Help file.
