Thanks for the info, Henri. Much appreciated.

But alas, not successful. Here's a few more details which
may give a better idea of exactly what's happening:

* It only happens when a link is opened in a new window -
clicking a link that opens in the same window works fine.

* It only happens when the new window is first opened -
once the initial pageload is stopped and I refresh the
window, it loads with no problem.

* It doesn't happen on my wife's Win ME computer or my XP-
Home computer - only on my Win98SE machine. All three run
IE 6 SP1.

* It's only been happening for a few days - until this
week, everything worked fine.

* I checked the file associations and everything looked
just like it was supposed to look.

* I tried manually re-registering the DLL files as shown
on your page. Each time I got a "successful" message, but
the new window issue still persists.

* I also tried running "repair Internet Explorer" from the
Add/Remove Programs Control Panel. Still no help.

Thanks again for your assistance. If you have any other
ideas, I'm (at least virtually) all ears.
