I am attempting to install Vista RC1 (build 5600 I believe it is, that was
shipped to me) on Dell PowerEdge 600SC and it fails every time, beta 2
installed with no probelm. I orginally thought it was do to lack of drive
space, as I was attempting to instal it to a 15k 18 gigabyte SCSI320/160
drive, but I hooked up my other 36 gigabyte drive and have the same problem,
still. I then added a 2nd 36 gigabyte drvie on the Adaptech's 2nd channel and
Vista does not even seem to see it, altough beta 2 install and ran with no
prolem seeing all my drives all along the way. Does anyone have any ideas..?
Tank you?

I recently purchased a 30g EIDE drive, removed the ADAPTEC ULTRA SCSI-160
card and drive(s) from the Dell PowerEdge server, but am still unable to
install VISTA Ultimate Build 5600. The installation continues to explain
that cannot location a drive. With the SCSI-160 at least the system was able
to locate the file subsystems, etc.. can anyone direct me to RC2 and maybe
that will install on the POWEREDGE 600SC. I have a Dell PowerEdge 1750 as
well, but really don't want to spend anymore time troubleshooting something
that I cannot get to work. Beta 2 of Vista Ultimate install flawlessly on the
Dell PowerEdge 600SC.
