I am attmepting to change motherboards on my system and
have followed the document 824125 - "How to replace the
motherboard on a w2000 computer".
After following the instructions, I switch to the new
motherboard, but get the message "NTLDR is missing".
Prior to this attempted conversion, the drive in question
was upgraded from windows98 and gives the startup option
of booting to DOS or Windows 2000 on startup.
If I boot the computer from an emergency dos disk, I find
that the NTLDR file is, in fact, present in the root
directory along with the boot.ini and the ntdetect.com
files.
Any ideas?
