When I try to install Service Pack 1, Microsoft returns
an error message after analyzing my hard drive. It
reports that there is insufficent space for the install
(2MBs for non archiving and 32MBs for archiving) and
tells me to delete some files to make space.
The only problem is, is that I have 35 Gigabytes of free
space. I defragmented my hard drive and attempted to
install SP1 three more times(with both archiving and no
archiving options) with the same results.
I have installed over 50 other updates from Microsoft
after this error with SP1 with no problem.
What can I do to assure Microsoft that I have enough room
on my hard drive?
