I installed a new 120 GB HD to replace a 20 GB drive as
the C drive. Windows XP Home continues to address the
old 20 GB drive as the C drive, even though the new drive
is plugged into the Master port of IDE 1 (drive 0 to the
motherboard). What is wrong, and how can I get the new
drive to be recognized as the Cdrive?

The drive needs to be formatted and have a active primary partition.
The XP boot files need to be on C: and the XP files need to be on C: if XP
was installed to C:.

You could ghost the 20 GB to the 120 GB.
