I've just made the switch from Netware/Groupware to Small Business/Exchange
2002. For some reason, some of our customers can receive our attachments
(.pdf or .rtf), but others cannot. I've had some to check to see if they
have the security setting set on their email client (OE). That resolved
some, but others say they don't have this option checked and that they were
able to receive our attachments before we moved over to exchange/outlook.

Environment:
- Win2k workstations (sp4)
- Outlook 2002 (I did apply the latest upgrades on 12/24 to see if this
would fix the problem)
- McAfee 6 w/ latest dat update.

- Win2k Server (sp4)
- Exchange with latest updates
- McAfee Enterprise

We are not getting any errors on our end and the sent items shows that it
was sent, but again the recipient only see the body of the message but not
the attachment. Has anyone had this problem before?

Thanks in advance.

Andre

Not sure which version of Microsoft Exchange your site is using, but did you
check to see if users where sending messages in Rich Text Format? The
reason that I ask is that Rich Text is only understood by Microsoft Outlook.

Hello
I got same problem with you. I sent a mail to a group of my mail list and then some of them can see attachments I added with mail but others can't see.
I found those persons who can't see attachment with OE adn Outlook. If they check the mail from web mail, they can see the attachment i added.
