Does this group not accept JPG attachments?
I posted an inquiry with an attachment showing the error message,
but it never showed up in the group.

Here is a popular method used in some groups:

Use a free image hosting site. Some popular ones are:

http://imageshack.us/
http://photobucket.com/

Pick one of the sites, create a free account, create your image on our
computer (JPG, BMP, etc.), upload it to the site, get back a link to
the image, post the link back here.

Short answer no. If you want to use a picture to show what you're talking
about, try using Jet Screenshot (www.jetscreenshot.com). It allows you to
take a screenshot, upload it to a server, then it copies the URL to your
clipboard so you can paste it into your message. Plus you can also add text
and highlights to the picture to point out what you're talking about before
it's uploaded. It's a great little program and it's free!
