I'm asking a question with Outlook 2007 and Vista Business on my laptop with
which I've got major problems with attachments and I'm not interested what
the other person is using. There are in fact two problems:
a. When trying to send two e-mails, one with a 700kB acrobat file andthe
other with a few jpg files with a total of 2MB with a GPRS connection I was
using over 100MB of bandwith but the the two files remains in the Outbox.
The recipients reported that they are receiviing multiple copies of the
e-mail with the attachment. Coming back from the farm and trying to send it
with a 3G connection it went through the first time without any problems.
Now please don't tell me it is a GPRS connection problem, the thingis that
when an e-mail is sent the software should be aware of such an event and it
should transfer the message to the Sent Items folder.
b. When trying to send some jpg files yesterday the recipient replied that I
forgot the attachment. This was again with the 3G connection.
Please note that I've upgraded on laptops (and at the same time downgraded
on software) and never ever had this kind of problem with XP and Outlook
2003. So it is an Outlook 2007 problem and nothing else.
I see MicroSoft expect payment for their support. In fact they should be
penalised for sending legal virusses like Outlook 2007 into the world.
Best Regards
Andre
