Attachments Deleted from Email with OE Message

Recently I have been getting all attachments deleted from
emails sent to my account with an OE message that states:

OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in
your mail

Has anyone seen this? How do you stop it from happening.

I have the same problem (using OE2003), someone just tried to send me an
..exe file and I received the "OE Removed access... message".

I went to Tools/Options/Security ..... then where? I looked all over every
option and so not see anything about allowing the attachments to come
through.

Also, is the file gone for good? Outlook shows the email under "size" as 1mb
so it seems like the attachment is there, but it is not, instead there is a
smaller 200k ".vcf" file.
