Hi,

My correspondents receive my mails but very often, they don't get the
attachments. I use Outlook 2002. Outlook Express works OK but as I have an
iPaq, I would like to remain with Outlook.

Thank for any ideas.

The most common reason I have found is somewhere along the line a
security system is stripping them out. Many file types can carry worms and
viruses. You may try changing the name of the file (at least one letter of
the last file type (the last three letters) and have the recipient change it
back after they detach and save it.

If you use Plain Text to send mail with attachments, do all recipients get them?

I cannot tell yet, I'm just finding that there is a problem, I need to
investigate more.
I send a lot of photos (jpg), I doubt that the Plain Text option would solve
the problem though!???
Am I mistaken?
(Sorry for the crossposting).

As Milly is suggesting, if you are composing your messages in Rich Text
format, only another Outlook user would be able to see the attachments.
Rich Text uses an attachment encoding that mens nothing to non-Outlook mail
clients and, in general, is ignored by them. Outlook Express, in
particular, won't even tell you there is an attachment.
