I have MS Outlook and want to attach photos to the message
body. When I do, they attach in the form of small icons
within the message near the bottom. Is there any way I can
keep them out of the message body and place them below
the "Bcc" line in the "To" box?

Thank you for any help!

What version of Outlook are you using?

I'm a little bit confused by your original message, because the first line
says you are trying to attach the images in the message body, but your
question near the end is how to keep them OUT of the message body. But I
think you will find that if you use HTML or Plain Text format for your
message, you will see the attachments listed in the message header, whereas
if you use Rich Text format, the attachment icons will be in the message
body.

Jocelyn, That worked! Using plain text keeps the
attachments listed in the message header instead of
placing them within the message body. That is what I
wanted to do. Messages I send to certain people, I choose
not to include attachments (photo Icons for instance)
placed within the message body. It looks "cluttered" to me
so glad you helped me on my question...I just couldn't
figure it out on my own.
Thanks so much!!
Jack D.

You're welcome. Note also that Rich Text format is proprietary to Outlook
and most other e-mail programs can't read the formatting properly, so make
sure to use HTML or Plain Text when sending to non-Outlook users.
