Attachment opening taking a lot of time

Hi, if I open any attachment on Windows Mail, it takes a lot of time. The
whole windows mail window is just hanging and not responding, if I click to
open any attachment.

This was not the case with Outlook Express.

Can you suggest or help.

What kind of attachment?

Are you running one of the non-compatible antivirus programs,
McAfee or Norton? If so, those will need to be uninstalled, and
replaced with a more compatible program such as the free Avast:

Clear your Temporary Internet Files in IE and see
www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 It sounds as if a 3rd party program is
interfering.
