pdf file (created using Adobe 7.0 PRO) attached to email and sent
successfully. However, when this received email is forwarded to another
address (internal or external) the attachment does not appear in the email.

How is this an Outlook issue? You say it sent properly and then the
recipient forwarded it on again. If you're the one using Outlook, it
appears to be working correctly. That first receipient has the problem, not
you, and any solution would depend on knowing what mail client that person
uses an how he or she has configured it. No one here has a crystal ball.

You could have replied sans the sarcasm.

The reason I believe it is an outlook issue is because when the email
containing the attachment is forwarded back to the person that sent it, (left
out that it was sent via Microsoft Axapta), the attachment is not delivered
with the email. We use Outlook 2003 in an Exchange environment. What
configuration information do you need? When this same email is forward to a
different address, it is received with attachment. All 3 systems running same
app versions. Performed a detect and repair on the. Haven't yet
uninstalled/reinstalled or created a new mail profile.

I could have.

I've not heard of Axapta before and I have no idea how it works, therefor,
no idea what it could be doing to a message. Try asking in the Axapta
newsgroup
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.axapta

I understand that you've never heard of Axapta, wish we hadn't. Anyway, I
don't think it is an Axapta problem. others using it have no problems. I am
stuck trying to figure out why just one mail account is unable to view
attachments within emails when they are forwarded to them. to add to what
i've already said. I've emailed myself an email with a text and pdf
attachment. I forwarded this email to the mailbox in question and the user
does not see/get the attachments. But when the user forwards this same email
back to me or anyone else all parties do see the attachments. I believe the
problem user is using html format.
