A colleague of mine is having problems opening a certain type of attachment
in her Outlook problem. In troubleshooting this issue we have been asked
where the attachments are kept in the Outlook folder itself. Can anyone
help me figure out where that might be? I know in Eudora you can specify
where all attachments are put but I don't know that this option is
available in Outlook.?.

Thanks

Attachments, when opened, are placed in the Outlook Secure Temporary File
folder. These articles have more info:

Attachments remain in the Outlook Secure Temporary File folder when you exit

attachments are stored on the message, in outlook, until you open it - then
a copy is saved in the securetemp folder.

Does it open if you use Save Attachments, then open it from the hard drive?
