you can show tasks in the taskpad beside the calendar or make appointments
from the task or add a task to an individual appointment as an attachment
(just as you would with an email) but you can't attach them to 'calendar
pages'

I think I should have added that you need to be in Calendar view and show the
task list either at the bottom of the Calendar or on the To-Do Bar to do
this.

To show the task list at the bottom of the calendar, click on the double
arrow at the lower right-hand corner of the calendar.

To show the task list on the To-Do Bar:

1. Click on View at the top of your screen.
2. Scroll down to To-Do Bar.
3. Click on Task List if it isn't already checked.
If your To-Do Bar isn't showing on the right-hand side of your screen, click
on the double arrow in the upper right.

Outlook 2003 does not have the To Do Bar or daily task display that makes it
easier to associate a task with the calendar in Outlook 2007. The best
solution for Outlook 2003 is probably to create an appointment that contains
either a link to the task or all the information for the task. There are some
good tools for that listed at http://www.slipstick.com/addins/tasks.asp
