Hello. I'm wondering if it is possible to attach a
certain selection of music in my playlist to an email
message.
If the answer is yes, please provide instructions on how
to do it.
Yes it can be done but watch out for the size of that attachment- many
email services have small file size limits, like 3MB or less. Just
compose an email like usual and, if you're using Outlook Express, click on
the paperclip "Attach" icon at the top of your message. You'll then need
to locate where the music file is located on your hard drive.
Emailing big attachments can really annoy some recipeints, especially
those with dial-up accounts. A better way to send your music file to
somebody might be to upload it to this site:
http://s7.yousendit.com/
Your recipient will be emailed a *link* to your file so that they can
download it at their leisure. Using "yousendit" also means that you don't
have to worry about the file size restrictions of your email service.
Which ever way you decide to send your tune, you will need to know exactly
where it is stored on your hard drive. If you aren't sure, click Start >
Search and look for it by name.
Hope that helps,
Ian.
