attaching multiple files

Our firm recently upgraded our build
Previously when in an e-mail, if one hit the Insert button, multiple file could be selected (using shift and/or control) to attach
That functionality is now gone

How can we get this functionality back?
 
Which version of Outlook are you using? Outlook 2002 and 2003 should have the functionality intact.
Outlook 2000 did have an issue when Word was being used as the e-mail editor. If you are using Outlook
2000, try using Outlook as your editor. The article below will provide the steps necessary:

Thanks.
I checked, and after I de-selected Word as my editor, the problem was solved. However, of course, this means I lose the other benefits of Word as my editor (thanks Microsoft - not!)
