Att000xx.dat attachment

I have a single user that I recieve mail from with a
Att000xx.dat attachment. She and I are both using Outlook
2000, and the attachment is supposedly a Word 2000
document. Neither Word 2000, Notepad, or Wordpad on my
system will open this attachment correctly, however. Any
help is appreciated. Thanks!
 
I'm getting the same from a number of users, and it just started yesterday.
Mine come as .txt attachments, but this is worrying as I receive email from
these users on a daily basis and I doubt they all changed their settings on
the same day.

Have you found anything else?
