Well I like my new 9800pro well enough, but I have to say that, compared to
my previous NVidia card software, ATI's multi-monitor control is horrific.
TO look at the control panel it seems simple enough: it should be merely
matter of turning on the appropriate button in the advanced disply dialog
but that has never worked for me without about 5 minutes of fiddling. How
can ATI take something that should be absolutely the simplest thing to do
(as proven by NVidia's software) and cock it up so badly? ATI software has
the same problem on both my laptop and pc.

You've not stated your problem...

On Display Properties (setup / NOT advanced) - Right click on the
monitor and ENABLE.
