My system:
Win200 Pro
512 MB RAM
ATI Radeon 9000
ATI -TV Wonder VE

Every time I watch TV I get a window that pops up with the following
message:

"A system resource required to run TV is either not available or is
currently in use by another application such as DVD or WebTV.
TV will start in low-performance mode."

I then click the OK button and the TV fires up. Full Screen mode is lousy
but all other resolutions are generally tolerable.

I do not have WebTV or a DVD player or anything like that running. What
"resource" is required that I presumably do not have?

One more thing... I had to install Conextants BtPCI drivers just to get the
TV card to work at all.

Thanks in advance,
GW

The BT drivers are your problem - while good drivers, they only install the
necessary drivers for pure A/V capture and not some of the lesser-used
functions of the TV Wonder card. MMC tries to use some of these advanced
functions and finds no drivers for them, therefore you're stuck in
"low-performance" mode (no close captions and other things).

If you want some of these other functions, try the ATI drivers again and be
sure to install them EXACTLY as the instructions say. If you can live
without them, stick with the BT drivers.
