Yes, unless you have 3rd party software. MMC is the software to make use of
the multimedia cards. It has TV Player, DVD Player, File Player & ETC.

No, MMC is not used with this card. It comes with Cyberlink software. Pretty
sad software at that. Very limited. It is also supported by BeyondTV4 and
sage TV and maybe some others.

I tried one out for my Dell 2405fpw. It didn't suit my purposes. I returned
it.

OK, the Elite part didn't register. MMC 9.13 is supposed to works with it
though. Their are threads on the subject on avsforum and rage3d websites.

Having tried several brands of MCE compliant TV tuner cards, I have to
say ATI elite and its variants are the best TV card out there. The
picture quality is unrivaled, closed caption function works very well,
the same can not be said for all other cards.

I have this card. I could not get the PowerCinema software to work with
it. ATI support told me to use MMC 9.13. I have installed MMC 9.13 and
everything seems to be working OK except I have one channel that the audio
is nothing but static noise. The video is OK. I have video software that is
connected to the same cable and that channel is OK in the player there.
Anyone have any ideas what is wrong?
