ATI warranty questions

Hello all,

I have a Radeon 8500 retail. It seems my monitor has severe ghosting
problems which I believe are being cause by the 8500. I don't have the
reciept for my card anymore. Do you think ATI would replace my card
even without the reciept? How many years is the 8500 covered for?

as long as you registered it with ati they'll replace it under warranty-if
it's bad.i think they have a 3 year warranty for the retail cards.BOB
 
Have you tried a better shielded monitor cable? Does your monitor cable
disconnect at the back of the monitor and is it replaceable? Have you tried
ferrous blocks on the monitor cable?

No it does not. I have an ADI microscan 6P 19"er

I havent tried the blocks. How many do I need and Where do you get
them?
