Not really an W2K issue. Wondering if a ATI 9600 radeon card can't power a
big lcd monitor, does this mean the power supply is too weak ?

Not sure what this means. The monitor has it's own power source. The card
simply presents the signal to it. The card settings may be out of range for
the monitor.

yes, tried it on a smaller monitor and it works fine.

Dave- thanks I know there is a 110v power supply to the monitor, that's why
I wondered whether the power supply from computer made any difference.

250 watts power supply for:
850 intel bd, 478 p4 cpu
1 cd player
1 h drive
1 floppy drive
ati 9600 agp w/ fan powered directly off agp card
1 medium sized case fan

I'll have my people call Michael Dell's people next work day - oh, that's
today in India

Shouldn't make any difference but you can ask the monitor manufacturer.
