I understand that there is a command that will cause
the uninstall of all that is ATI on mu PC.
I may use this as I am about to upgrade from my 128 pro to the AIW
9800.
However, google didn't show me this command.
Anyone know what it is?

Thank you,

Look in Control Panel / Add-Remove programs. If you've previously installed
the ATI software you should find it there.

That is a poor way to uninstall software. I use it but only
in conjunction with file search and regedit.

I've used their "ATI - Software uninstall utility" in Add-Remove programs.
many times. On a reboot Windows no longer recognizes the video card and
tries to re-install it. I just say cancel and then install the newer
version. Never had a problem doing that way. I'd only use the regedit
search if I was changing video card brands. If I'm sticking with ATI, then
this seems to be just fine.

In the past I used Driver Cleaner to clean things out, but since ATI
started installing this utility with their driver package, I haven't had to
use it.
