ati tv viewing V9.6 program

I got this program with my ATI All In Wonder 2006 Edition video card. (ATI
TV V9.06)
I recorded a program and it saved it as a .vcr format.I remember during set
up that it asked if I wanted to use that becasue it was good at compressing
and whatever other reasons. However i am finding now that I don't have a
program I can use to edit it with. Can someone tell me how to convert a .vcr
format to .mpg or .avi?

ATI's MMC 9.08 offers the ability to convert VCR format files to MPEG -2
format MPG or MPEG - 4 AVI. This is done via the Library and right clicking
on the file you want to convert (ATI calls it Exporting). The library help
files covers the operation as well.
