ATI Radeon are rubbish - official.

I tried to get in contact with ATI Radeon to get information about their
products
however unless you already have a product and a serial number it is
impossible to
contact them.

I wonder how much their sales director earns in a year?

I think I will buy a share in the company, attend the AGM and demand the
useless
fooker(s) be sacked.

Anyway fook em I will buy a card from another manufacture, I have zero
confidence
in ATI now.
 
Why not post your questions here? Better than nothing, but I know what you
mean- I have recieved zero replies from Arctic Cooling reference their
crappy accelero X2 coolers, which are unable to adequately cool my crossfire
setup. I will certainly never buy any of their stuff again.

I have posted some questions here and I am more than grateful for the
replys, because
the ATI Radeon site is useless.
However I am getting the opinion of just one person about just one card,
which
may infact come in many different guises and specifications
Also for one reason or another it is not easy for me to get hold of some of
the recommended
cards, and I would like to be able to go to the manufactures site, to
confirm the recommedations
before I spend my (not so) hard earned cash!! Also most of the cards
recommended are not in
local shops and I prefer not to have to wait for deliveries etc if I buy
online.

Whats the first thing which springs into you mind when you hear the word
Radeon - graphics cards.
However you won't find that on their product list!!!!!Staggering!!!!!
And when you do browse their site you are confronted by marketing b*llsh*t:-
"addresses fundamental graphics display requirements"
"cost effective solution for applications "
"Designed for exceptional 2D/3D/video performance "
"the ideal blend of performance, visual quality and power management"
"exceptional visual experience"
"delivers a dazzling visual experience" (comment, do you prefer
"exceptional" to "dazzling"?)

Anyway I can't see any order to their model numbers I just end up confused,
and of course
there are no prices there to give you some sort of clue about the power of
the product.
Can anyone make sense of their model numbers?
Is X800 better than 9000?
Whats all that about?
The problem is I am not at all familiar with graphics cards so its hard work
filtering through
the marketing bull!!
Fortunately when I did buy the wrong card (I have no AGP slot) the shop too
it back
no problems. I did notice that they had a lot of returned graphics cards,
probably because a
lot of people are just as confused as me. If I bought on line I doubt they
would be
as obliging, mind you they are not charging twice the price in the first
place!!

Anyway I think I will go for a Matrox G450 and buy it online, at least it
won't
break the bank, but I am not sure if they are less powerful than my onboard
graphics (Radeon Xpress 200), and whether I would notice or not?
I am not sure about the memory thing, my onboard uses the normal memeory
but those card have (less) memory onboard what does all that mean?????

I have a Artic Cooling Freezer64 cpu cooler that the fan go bad. I
contacted Aritc Cooling about replacing it. They responsed within 24 hrs
and I had the new fan for the cooler 4 days after that at no charge.

Seems like your not looking in the right places.

And has far has the different between a 9000 and a X800. The x800 is ready
a 10800(10 series). Has far has the industry goes there all to hard to
understand there numbering systems. I just mainly stay away things that
have things like SE(shity editon) and so on.

where you went? Could you post a link to where you sent your request?

I found a pre-sales information email address and toll free telephone number
on their site in a matter of seconds.
I think the problem may be at your end.

Where? Are international call freee?
There is no email address only to place and order or for information

Perhaps you could phone them and ask them why the two biggest computer
related stores in the UK (selling ATI) are not listed on their list of
retailsstores in the UK.
As you are in the USA it won't cost you anything.
Also ask how many hours a day their sales director spends on the golf course
and would he recognise a picture of his office?
I for one wouuld like to know.

They are a bloody disgrace.

And to futher show their complete as utter incompetance and failure
as a viable company their store locator does not list either of the stores
in my area which sell thier products. Of course it list a pile which are
miles
away, and probably ceased to exixist many years ago.

IT MAKES ME SICK TO THINK TO THINK THAT A BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT

PC World and Maplins are in no way what you seem to think they are. They do
seem to have some of the biggest etailers in the UK listed. PC World doesn't
even sell a half decent range of Nvidia cards never mind ATI ones, they
exist solely to sell overpriced shite to ****wits like you. You are a pretty
poor troll really. Before I am painted as a fanboy, I have owned at least
one card in each generation of nvidia cards since the launch of the GeForce
256 except for the current 7X00 series.

Ok so I am talking to a foul mouthed kid who likes playing video games,
well thats just great isn't it. Well I don't really value the opinion of a
adolesent juvenille very much, maybe your parants/guardians don't give
you enough pocket money to able to buy products from anyone other than
box shifters, however I can afford to pay for convienvce and customer
service.

You obviously have no idea how small the online market is compared to
that in the high street.

Please don't waste your time replying, if I wanted to hear foul language and
abuse I can go down the nearest council estate and walk past the groups of
chav's swigging cider at the street corners.
