What's the difference between the OEM and Retail versions? The clock speed
is slower on the OEM?

Usually the following:

Retail - Shiney box, instruction book, manufacturers guarentee, Driver
disk, possibly free game or two

OEM - Antistatic bag, no instructions, guarentee only from the shop you
brought it from, no drivers (download them) no freebees.

So if I can get an OEM version of this card, I won't have to worry about it
being underclocked or anything? I remember they did that with the 8500DV or
8500 128MB. I'm not concerned about the lack of a shiney box or anything.

I think ATI stated that all cards will have the same minimum clock speeds.

Then came the 9800se...

But the SE has the same clock speeds, hasn´t it? Performs like a 9600, but
runs like a 9800. What a marketing scam.

What's a 9800SE?

I looked here:

http://www.ati.com/products/gamer.html

...and don't see a 9800SE.

@drian.

It´s a 9800Pro with only four of the 8 pixel pipelines working. Probably a
way of making some money on bad 9800 cores. Some people have succeded in
opening up the pipes with hacked drivers.
Basicly the same deal as they did with the early 9500np on 9700PCB-cards.
Havn´t seen any statistics on how often the mod works, though.
