Ati Radeon 9600 pro freezes??

Hello,
I have a problem with Gigabyte Radeon 9600 pro 128 Mb, configuration is P4
2.0, Abit IC-7 motherboard, 512 DDR!
Problem is that in most games after few minutes or an hour of playing, it's
not specific, the game simply freezes for a 10-20 sec. and than VPU recovery
tool shows up and fixes thing, but sometimes he can't fix it and I must
reset computer!!!
I tried with every single version of catalyst and omega drivers including
the newest 4.4 but it simply wont help!!
I formated computer but no effect, the problem remains!
I even try that graphic card in another computer and it shows the same
simptoms!!
Please, if anybody can help me with some advice before I take it to the
store for reclamation???

Return Material Authorization

Contacting the reseller to get their approval for the return as well as a
"tracking" number they'll use to input it into their system upon arrival.
 
It sounds like something may be overheating, and that can possibly be caused
by using too small/ unstable of a power supply unit.
