Im running quite a high spec laptop, which I recently had
to restore the system on. Problem is, every time I try
to play any kind of game that requires a 3D card, windows
gives me the blue screen of death after a few minutes
play.
The laptop restarts itself too fast to read the whole
messege, but i notice that half the time the messege
is "bad_pool_cleaner" or something similar. And when I
send the error report to Microsoft, they tell me its a
bad device driver. Yet I think I've installed the most
recent drivers for my laptop (I haven't been able to find
any drivers released after the end of July this year, so
I'm assuming theyre the most up to date), and I still get
the blue screen.
Does anyone know why I'm still getting the blue screen?
And more importantly, does anyone know how to fix this
problem? Or is it going to be a restore the system job
again?
