ATI drivers and "System Cache" memory usage bug fixed yet?

I know there was an issue with ATI video drivers and using the "System
Cache" setting in the Advanced Performance options in Windows XP. Does

I'm running Catalyst 3.10 drivers (about to see what's current) on XP Pro
SP1 with an ATI9600XT.

I'm not sure why this is even an issue with XP. By default the setting is
for programs not system cache. Large system cache is for when you are
running a server. JLC

but its a recommended system tweak amongst the common XP tweakers.
