Does anyone out there know when someone will be shipping the ATI
RADEON® XPRESS 200 (the one with built in graphics) motherboards?

I'd like to make a file server out of one, and was hoping to
build it soon, plus a friend want a basic machine (VERY light
gaming), and I thought it would make him a good machine, that
could be added to in the future, if he needed to.

Any idea when they might start shipping? The ATI has about 6
different MB makers on their web site, but none of those are for
sell on pricewatch.

ZipZoomFly is selling the MSI RS480M2-IL Radeon Xpress 200G for $99.99 with
free 2nd Day shipping; it's currently on backorder.

Also, check out the Jetway ATi RX480, based on the Radeon Xpress 200P.
Unlike the MSI board, it uses an ULi Southbridge, which also supports HD
Audio, NCQ, and overclocking features - it also doesn't include built-in
video.

Jacoby, thanks for these links, but I forgot 1 thing. For the server,
I want 2 PCI-E slots for a Gigabit lan and a future "real" RAID card.
Sorry. These do look nice for my friends "main" machine!!!!

Thanks for all who replied. I was getting worried that I didn't see any
on Price watch, just looks like they haven't made any updates!

Hopefully not. :-)

The same thing could be accomplished by just using an older PCI
video adapter (most people have a couple laying around in their
house collecting dust now) instead of springing for an AGP or
PCI-E adapter.
