ATI All-in-Wonder not initalizing TV/ OpenGL

oOK, so I read all the ATI posts before I asked this, hoping to find an
answer. I have a Radeon X800 XT ALL-In-Wonder. I installed all the newest
software from ATI, including the new Catalyst drivers. Still, I can not get
the TV or radio to initialize. And I can not play my games either...it will
not start OpenGL.

Is there a fix to this or do I just suck it up till ATI releases more
software?

Thanks in advance

There are no All In Wonder Vista drivers yet. The Radeon drivers don't seem
to work very well on the All in wonder cards but I imagine ATI will come out
with some soon.

Oh Gee...that's swell... :( Oh well...

Thanks for the answer. You gave me more info in the short time between my
post and your than ATI has in the past two days.

Jeff

You are most welcome. One of my tech friends has the same card and has been
nagging ATI for drivers so I am familiar with the issue.

Shakesbeer? hahahaha love it

Whitelitr,

I have the ATI AIW X600 Pro and had the same issues with XP MCE and now
again with Vista MCE. I went through hell with ATI to get a fix to this
problem. I won't go through all the details here but they have a solution on
their site (if you can call it that) and if you follow the steps exactly and
can read through the very confusing multiple names they use for the same
thing on different pages of their site you might get lucky and get it to work
after four or five tries, like I did.

ATI's tech support and web site are about the worst I have seen and they
don't seem to be putting any effort into fixing it.

Good luck!

If you guys will take the time to read the Release notes for the ATI
drivers, you will find that they specifically say"Do Not Support OpenGL at
this time". The most current drivers RC1, release sept 2 '06, still do not
support OpenGL either.. I am patiently awaiting these to be able to run
several of my software programs which require the OpenGL extensions. ATI get
on with it and post some OpenGL drivers for us to test and debug before final
release this Jan. of VISTA, it is going to be ruff if we have to wait till
release time for this.

Cheers
