I have a problem with the clips I have captured with my ATI
All-in-Wonder 128Pro. The file player will playback everything except
the ATI TV captures I have done. It worked up until I did some other
program removals. I think this may have been the beginnig of the
problem. I can capture it the TV tuner. Go to load the file player
with the clip and it says ATIMMC.EVE has encountered a problem. Tries
to send an error report and isn't even able to do that. This same
problem happens in the Windows Media Player.

I have tried reinstalling everything. I am not sure what to do next.

Thank-you,

Carl

Did you install the DVD player? It supplies the MPG2 codec.

Here's what I did to get this working again:

Uninstalled the ATI Display Drivers
Unistalled the Media Center
Removed all the Reg keys in safe mode
Reinstalled the ATI Display Drivers
Reinstalled teh Media Center
Properly Installed the DVD Player

Thank-you for the suggestion it worked perfectly. I didn't think of
reinstalling the DVD player portion and now it is all working again.

It's a common problem. As long as it's working your good to go but MMC
should be the last thing installed so it's aware of what else has been
installed.
