ATI AIW 7500 using WinDVD getting choppy audio on encodes

Hi there. I'm using WinDVD on my XP machine and I keep getting choppy
audio no matter what I set the audio or encode quality to. Anyone have
any helpful hints? I'm thinking it's some kind of driver or resource
conflict, but everything look kewl on my PC.

I have the AIW 7500 and use WinDVD 4 to watch my encodes. I have never
had any problems with either VCD or SVCD capping. I use win2k,
though. It's probably some kind of driver issue. Have you tried
installing the latest Catalyst drivers? They fixed some problems with
my 7500 (like fixing the NeverWinterNights crashing problem), so may
work for you.
