On the side of the ATI box it says I'm supposed to get a svga to comp
adpater, all I got was the svga and composite cables but no adapter.
Anyone else?

Might help if you posted what card hehe. But, at least so far, in my
experience almost all of the new cards have BOTH an Svga output & an svid
out. Most also have a DVI connector you can use or with an adapter thing
that basically looks like a dbl ended splicer/connector, at least mine came
with one but havent used it, use as a second svga connector. Perhaps your
misreading as the only thing I can think of is that it might say Svid to
Composit adapter as those do come with many cards including my 9800. It will
usually be a little cord about 6 inches long one end will have a Svid plug
to connect to the vid out on card and other end will be composit in case the
TV your sending to doesnt have the ability to to do Svid.

Um, I said exactly which card in the subject heading. It says "ATI
9800pro". And what I'm talking about is that SVID to Comp adapter you
mention. My box didn't have one. Not that I need it right now anyway,
but I might one day.
