I have 8500DV, want to use two (2) VGA monitors, no tv monitor(s), do
I need a second video card? If so what will work with this card? Do I
use hydravision software or windows software, I have 2200 AMD 1.0 gig
ram. windows 2000 pro.

Can any one help?

Go to www.atitech.com and lookup your card. Find the
manual for it and follow the instructions in the manual. It looks
like your card supports two monitors.

I'd like to know how. The 8500DV is an All-In-Wonder board, which has
one DVI connector and one multimedia connector which has NTSC
composite, S-Video, and Firewire ports, but no VGA or DVI. So where do
you connect the second monitor.

To use a second VGA or DVI monitor in conjunction with an 8500DV it is
necessary to install a second video board. If one it not interested in
the TV capabilities then a number of relatively inexpensive
dual-output boards are available--using one of those would be simpler
than using a second board with the 8500DV.

Looks like I missed the fact that it was a AIW card. The 8500 series
(non-AIW)
support dual monitors.

You need another video card if you don't want to use a TV as
the second monitor.
