Does anyone know where to buy the unboxed oem editions of
this processsor in the uk??? I dont need another heatsink because
i am running water cooling rig.

I asked my wholesaler, he said he can get OEM versions of AMD chips in,
but they carry an insanely short warranty, the savings is only about
$10, plus I have to pay about $10 shipping to get the part in.

Things might be different on that side of the pond though.

AMD has put the stops on OEM chips. That does not mean that they can't be
bought. But, the larger, reputable retail outlets won't be selling them.
They will be selling what stock they still have. Some smaller shops still
sell OEM CPUs, but it is getting more rare all the time plus the savings is
not what it once was.
